ABOUT US
Since 1968, We Have Been Serving Our Communities
THE MOBLEY-GILES-WILLIS FOP LODGE 7
The Mobley-Giles-Willis Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7 was established on May 10, 1968, by dedicated members seeking to provide support, resources, and a strong voice for the men and women who risk their lives daily for the communities they love and serve.
With an active and growing membership, we proudly serve 24 agencies across Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty, and Tattnall counties.
Initially named the Frank W. Mobley Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in honor of Detective Frank Mobley, who was killed in the line of duty protecting the community he loved and served. In August 2022, the name was updated to the Mobley-Giles Fraternal Order of Police Lodge to recognize the late Jacob Giles, who served as president for twenty-one years. Most recently, in May 2024, the lodge was renamed the Mobley-Giles-Willis Lodge to honor the late Jack Willis Jr., who served in various capacities, including president and secretary, for forty-three years.
THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE
The National Fraternal Order of Police is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 367,000 members in more than 2,200 lodges. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today’s police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the NFOP.
